Onward

I cannot see the way ahead,
Brain is swimming with sudden dread.

Swirls of light entwined with haze,
Beginning the journey through an eerie maze.

Progressing slowly toward destination,
Blinding darkness causing aggravation.

A moment's view of the forward course,
Plunged again into the murky source.

Tiny molecules block the way,
And slow momentum on this day.

As if a wall they block progress,
Confusion turns to wicked stress.

All at once the clouds are gone,
The fog has lifted with the dawn.

Now it is hard to be very proud,
Almost defeated by a cloud.
